FCS Semi-Finals vs SHSU

I figured Shaq would play. A dislocated shoulder usually isn't too big of a deal to get back in place as long as you can keep the swelling to a minimum. The back thing with Lee is kind of concerning, although as long as there aren't herniated discs involved, he could be good to go on Saturday. If it's just some bulged discs involved, that can be taken care of with some rehab and a lot of times it's more discomfort than anything real serious.

What about the concussion guys? Brown and King? King in particular looked like he took a pretty good shot and Brown looked like he was out for a couple seconds as well. I know they have to pass a binch of tests to be safe.

Anyone hear anything on Talley? Would be good to have some more depth at RB.

Hay now . . . . Teachable Moment! . . .What's in the Past is in the Past! . . . :tothehand:

Any updates to Tj Lee or Shaq Hill?
TJ Lee is questionable, but will probably play, Shaq Hill will play.

But will he hold onto the ball through the end zone? :)
Count on that! He will be holding that ball until he gets written permission from Baldwin to hand it over to the ref

Not only do we need to win the turnover battle, we just plain can't turn the ball over! If we turn the ball over more than once (at most) we won't win this game. We can't give their offense more opportunities to score. 2 of the last 3 games, we've had a turnover in the red zone and that absolutely can't happen this week. I think we have a great chance to win this game, but our days of letting teams take a two touchdown lead, or letting a team back into the game when we have a big lead are over. This SHSU team will take advantage and we have to play our best game of the year to win!

GO EAGS!!

Bang on with the post. Third down will be a big deal too. Get 'em off the field and rest our defense. As mentioned "we can't get behind too far and try to play catch up." I couldn't agree more. The 4 teams in these semi's have proven they have what it takes to win it all. If the boys do what they are capable of doing:

Eagles 31
SHSU 24

Sam Houston Fans are not giving us a chance...screw em...we dominate this game. They want to try to bring pressure and man up on the best receiving corp in FCS, they will regret it. Our tall receivers are a lot faster than people think, if they go man all game, Pardon and Adams will blow up the scoreboard.

EWU - 45
SHSU - 31

While sitting at our gate, at DIA, waiting for our flight to Cheney, proudly wearing our Eagles gear....
We happened upon 2 SHSU fans who are evidently coming to the game!!!
EWUMOMMA and I are on our way... And irritating bearkitty fans along the way!!!

I was looking into what kind of school Sam Houston is and concluded it is kind of on the order of M.I.T. They call themselves State university because they did not want to be referred to as S.H.I.T.

Great research now if we can get Allen to put that into a column or article tomorrow that would be classic.

Eagles tonight, Eagles tomorrow. Good job to everybody who's managed to stay away from the AGS dumpster fire.

I couldn't handle the folks on AGS this week, its pretty painful. Ive got a rehearsal to teach this afternoon, so we are heading out from PDX very early tomorrow. But a little coffee and a ton of nerves and excitement should keep me awake for the drive I reckon!

Weatherman says up to 5 inches of snow tonight, another 5 inches tomorrow, then another 5 inches through monday ! Who do you think that favors in the Enferno ? Good Question eh ?
