• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Football - does anyone care?

Looking at the board membership list, we have had 7 new members since January 2021 who have contributed a total of 7 posts (3 by 1 person). Football starts this weekend and some of our teams are kicking ass (volleyball beat North Carolina and CSU) and this board is dead.

Are message boards a bygone way of communicating? Surely there are recent graduates or current students that want to talk about sports. Where are they doing it (is there a discord or some place new that I am far too old to know about)?

Well Brian, as far as Football is concerned, for the last ten years I’ve talked till I’m blue in the face. I’m tired of the losing culture and have no more words until things change ! Now Volleyball has been a hoot. They are getting with it. What a great win over CSU the other night. Go Bears

I think everyone moved to twitter, and pretty much any other form of social media. Also when your team wins 3 games a year for over a decade strait their isn't as much to predict or talk about any more.

Instead of making capital improvements to the football program we clearly should be spending in on the basketball and volleyball programs. I guess they did say it was donor funded though.

Go Bears! Should be interesting listening to https://thehullshow.com/ this week. See what Brady has to say.
