UNC wanted Cabral five years ago, and they want to wait until his fate in Boulder is known before making any moves. Eric Bieniemy is the guy in Boulder, and Ken Norton, Jr. was on his perspective coaching staff (Thats a requirement of any candidate at CU---I don't know the exact title, but my guess would be DC/LBs coach). Cabral will be the new coach.

Stop pushing your CU rejects on us, we don't want them.

Hey Brian, since you're the mod can you create a poll with the candidates? It would be interesting to see who everyones #1 favorite would be. I would just use the list the Tribune did last week - since we don't even really know who's interested. I tried to do it myself, but failed. Thanks!

Yes, Stitt does only have two playoff appearances, but remember that at the School of Mines. The academic admissions standards alone cut his recruiting pool at least in half. I'd say any playoff appearances are damn impressive considering what he has to work with.

Considering what he had to work with? Smart kids? See, it's that kind of thinking that lends itself to my theory about needing stupid kids, with a thug mentality, to lead our program out of obscurity.

Darnell's spread didn't work here because he had about four plays in his playbook, when run properly the spread is easily the most lethal offense out there.

Darnell ended up at Ft. Lupton High school where he was the offensive coordinator. The Blue Devils won 3 (?) games this year running the "Pistol" offense. I guess the "Prevent" defense prevents you from winning, and the "Pistol" lets you shoot yourself in the foot.

Stupid like you? Darnell is at Blinn College where he is the offensive line coach. Blinn finished with a winning record and is playing in a bowl game this weekend.
