I don’t like the wr screen call on 3rd down but Eastern has put together a dominant 1st half so far. Aside from the pick 6 and that BOGUS targeting call which really helped them score that drive Eastern has been dominant today. Great job Eags, now finish ‘em!
 
As a 20 year official (retired) including Pac 12 games in a sport other than football, I rarely rag on officials. JSU with one penalty in first half and clear foul against EB3 out of bounds and very questionable targeting and obvious holding on JSU all over, I'm calling a homered game thus far. It may not be by design cause they pride themselves on being fair but I,ve seen several times officilas begin to reach for the flag and pull back. It's like you put the whistle to your lips...blow it!
 
The holding on what should have been a sack was egregious...happened right in front of me. I don’t know how that gets missed. Really bad.
 
Also...our tackling has been really bad. Db trucked trying to reach for the ball instead of tackling the dude.
 
Looks like he thought he was playing soccer...faking and trying to draw a flag when any physical contact was nowhere near
