Eags OL is doing some weird zonish blocking moving laterally and the Griz are too athletic and quick. Should be hat on a hat, the OL does outweigh them.... It's like they watch film and say this is the opponents strength, so let's go there..

The most striking thing about this team (besides youth and lack of talent in various positions) is a void of leadership. Yeah, it's a new coaching staff for the most part but there just isn't a ton of player leadership out there to speak of. Hopefully the brutality of this season puts some fire in some of these young guy's bellies but someone really needs to step up and be a leader on both sides of the ball.

He needs to make some big changes. We tossed our offensive coordinator last year despite having one of the best offenses in the country. I can’t even remember when we pushed a defensive guy out despite having one of worst defenses in FCS year after year. We can’t keep these defensive coaches… they are completely clueless. The offense is bad, but the defense is so bad it’s beyond all recognition.
