Just curious eagles fans. With the opening of the college football season this weekend who are you pulling for? The griz or North Dakota State
As much as I HATE to say it, I'll root for the Big Sky and M$%^#$A. If the Griz could upset the national champs and we dump N Iowa Sept 12, it would be sweet for the Big Sky over MVFC.
I am hoping you can add another MVFC lost to the Big Sky when Cal Poly plays Northern Iowa September 19th.

I always root for any/all Big Sky teams when playing out of conference opponents. Just the right thing to do.

I used to be one of the folks who would pull for our BSC mates in big matchups, but every time we're in a similar situation the vitriol over on eGriz and almost unanimous cheering on of our opponent makes me want to see the Grizzlies curb stomped! That said if a sinkhole opened up and the field disappeared leaving neither team as the winner, I can't see a downside...

The goal here is for EWU to be able to out recruit the Montana schools. The more losses UM and MSU have the better it is for EWU.

Could care less about the other BSC schools do in non-conference. You think Univ Wash will root for Oregon when they play Mich State?

I understand what you're saying, but one thing to consider is conference head to head records and playoff spots and seeding. We absolutely want the Big Sky to perform well in OOC games. Look at the number of teams the MVFC got into the playoffs last year and their seedings. Getting a large number of wins in a conference that has played well against the rest of the field boosts playoff stock significantly.

I think the game will be postponed due to hazardous air quality and ESPN will fill the gap with the EAGS and SHSU game from last year.

This high school football game they have on prior to has got to be some of the most boring stuff I've seen.

I'm watching it too. For 2 teams who are supposedly loaded with "SEC talent", this is horrible to watch. Incredibly boring and very undisciplined play on both sides.

I just turned it on. FIrst play on the screen was a blocked FG for a TD.

anyone heard anything about a weather day in missoula?

Doesn't look like it. Just really smokey from all the fires.

Nah, that's just the normal look from the local paper mill.

Montana's vaunted defense looked like swiss cheese on the first Bison possession.

7-0 Bizzons
