Too bad to hear about the injuries. That was a big part of Weber's problems last year. The offensive and defensive lines were hit hard by the injury bug. So far no significant injuries for the team this year. I always hope for the best players to be on the field. Are your starting QB and RB definitely out? What effect will this have on the game?

MBT is for sure out this week and possibly the next 4 to six weeks.

Hilliard will be playing and will runover anyone in his way. Shaw was the RB that got a concussion last week, a good RB, but not the starter. He was expected to share a lot of time with Hilliard. No idea if he's good to go for this week though.

As a biased Weber fan, I'm picking Weber to win mainly because of one reason. Cam Higgins. He has owned Sac in his career and is looking very good thus far this season. These are his stats in 3 games vs Sac (all Weber wins by an average score of 35-14) - 57 completions on 83 attempts (68.7%), 915 total passing yards (305/game), 0 interceptions thrown, 13 passing touchdowns, 1 rushing touchdown, and 1 sack. What is most impressive to me is the 0 interceptions and 1 sack. If Cam has struggled with anything during his career it has been turnovers. And only one sack in three games, that's very impressive. I'm guessing Sac fans won't be too upset that this is the last time they have to face Higgins. That said, I seem to be in the minority here. Most boards and media sites I've seen are picking Sac St to win this one.
 
Fan boards and media sites are all juju, the decision will be made Saturday at 6:05PST.
Yes, Higgins has owned the Sac State defense and will probably do so again this weekend, just hope we can score more points than he does. Thank goodness Toone is gone.
 
The biggest problem Weber's given Sac since we joined is John Fassel and his quick kicks over the safety's head TWO YEARS IN A ROW. You'd think we'd have remembered the second year....

We do have a new DC so it will be interesting to see how the scheme is to try and knock Higgins off his game. Also I have seen posted elsewhere that when Higgins is pressured, he is prone to throwing the pick. It’s going to be fun to see how this game plays out.

Sounds like Sac has a stud D Tackle in Christian Clark. Will he be able to put that needed pressure on Higgins? We shall see.

He's good, but Zack Nash is also on the rise too. It's like a one-two punch. Both are extremely quick off the ball getting around the tackles.
