Hornets vs Wildcats

Hornets have had 0 success running the ball outside. On 2nd and 13 Sperbeck calls a HD dive that gets nothing. On 3rd and long smith can't find anyone and runs for 5 yard. On comes the punt team.
 
The punter out punts the coverage and WSU has a 95 yard punt return. I'm speechless. :x 21-0 WSU.
 
Sperbeck puts the ball in the hands of Dailey and is rewarded. Hornets pick up 28 yards on 4 carries and still driving.
 
Smith blows a nice play action by under throwing...and i mean really under throwing a wide open TE. 4th and short and it looks like they are going for it. WSU timeout.
 
Holy God. Jason Smith just missed an uncovered, wide open receiver for an easy TD. COME ON. The WSU announcers made a good point. Smith locks on and throws to a predetermined WR nearly every time. Give the ball to Dailey and see what MBT can do. I'm sick of this.

And please, COVER TIM TOONE.
 
2 consecutive badly overthrown balls by Smith and its 3rd and 10...but he is saved by a WSU holding call.
 
Nope, on 3rd and 5 Sperbeck runs a HB dive. On 4th down Sperbeck calls a naked bootleg for a TD. So all you advocates for the naked bootleg, here it was, it worked so it is a great play call...THIS TIME.
21-7 WSU late in the 2nd qtr. A great drive, good execution with the exception of the badly over thrown balls by Smith.
 
The Hornets give up a huge kick off return and WSU takes over at mid field. The no-huddle is abusing the Hornet defense. Thanks to a couple drops, WSU faces a 4th and inches. Looks like they are going for it.
 
WSU picks it up on a busted play then burns the BD's on the next play. 28-7 WSU with only seconds to go in the 2nd qtr. I don't think I have seen a Hornet blitz yet. Way to apply pressure. :roll:

Remind you of EWU? Super Smith is scheduled to pick up some major garbage stats! We'd better see MBT.
 
Smith throws a pick (on an over throw surprise surprise) in the closing seconds. WSU ball on the Hornet 24 yard. WSU scored 2 plays later. 35-7 WSU at the half. Another TD for Toone. This game is over.

I've seen enough of Smith sucking it up. I've been giving him chances but enough is enough. Bring in MBT! :evil:

Yeah I guess the DC hasn't noticed that the sit back and watch the opposing QB tear the DB's up strategy hasnt worked in the first 5 games. :x
 
Agreed. Play MBT in the 2nd half.

And I dont understand playing zone against Toone...he is most dangerous after the catch. You give him any space and its lights out. Play M2M on him!!!!
