How to beat Oregon....

I've seen several people talking about turnovers and how critical they are to the game. I think Oregon was #1 in the country last year in turnover margin. Yes our defense historically has given up yards, but they tend to get the ball back for the offense.

Eags will need to be on the plus side is the consensus to make this a game. No one is sure what our new defense will be capable of doing in this regard. By FCS standards, it will be fast and aggressive... No one is considering this game a litmus for how our season will roll out, at least, they shouldn't. Expect to be competitive and make some plays on offense and would like to be surprised to the upside on defense. ;-)

You guys have great fans, I'm enjoying my time on your board. Obviously, I'd like to see my Ducks come out ready to take every opponent down hard and fast. Without Mariota at QB this year a lot of national people are doubting the Ducks. Yes, I'd like to see VA as you call him have a great season as a Duck and take us back to the National Championship game. And yes I'd like to see us dominate on defense. BUT, it's college football, we've seen a number of teams already struggle with opponents they were expected to dominate and those things play into who gets into the playoffs. We've got to take care of business tomorrow and each week if we are going to get back to the NC.
