Surprised they won in Moscow. Turned around with an all too familiar crappy start and got their butts handed to them in Cheney. Contract extension really paying off. Wonder what excuses on the Rolodex will be used for this one.

Again, dust was outcoached. At least it was by a guy with tons of experience, lol! Our coach has no ability to adjust his attack or defense to what the other offense is throwing at him. Usually can do ok at that during halftime break but absolutely fails at it in-game. And it cost victories. A 21 point lead in the first 5 or 6 minutes of the game is inexcusable. Duft just kept doing the same thing when he needed to change things up to get his team motivated to make a greater effort and confuse the opponents offense, throwing them off-rhythm and stopping their run.

Frankly, I find it embarrassing... he learned from Rahe who had the same problem. When I complained to the AD about that issue with Rahe, he just said: If you don't like it don't watch!

Well, seeing attendance is routinely below 2,000. I think many don’t like it and have decided not to watch. Even if they make a coaching move down the road, can they even bring in a talented coach who will be able to bring fans back?

Win consistently and fans will come back. Are we winning consistently with Duft?? No so find someone new and see how it goes. New energy is needed

2025-26 DI Record: 11-13. 5 games to go (could be more if the team wins at the tournament). So far, what has changed?

I do want to see the kids win out, but I don't see it happening. I feel the team might have 2 more wins maybe 3.

Weber's record is: 2 wins against non-D1 opponents
11 wins against D1 opponents
14 losses against D1 opponents.
I also hope, but don't believe, that they will win-out in the remaining 4 regular season games. I see them going 2-2. Maybe one win at the Montana's and loss to Portland State at home.
As I said before, if Weber wants to be more than an average lower level D! team they will have to find a better coach. But not holding my breath that they will give up on Duft. probably won't win more than one game in the conference playoffs. I think there is as much talent on this team as anyone else in the big sky. But in close games Duft will get out-coached and their opponent will pull it out with better coaching in the last 5 minutes. Far more likely that the games after the first one will not be close because Duft will get out-coached throughout the game. He is just not as good at in-game adjustments as his opposing coaches are.

First off, the Montana games are here at WSU and then plays AT Portland. IF WSU gets lucky they will go 2-2 to finish with a win at home against one of the Montana's and hopefully a road win at ISU.
