Idaho State at #2 EWU Game Thread

The right job for Kramer would be U of Idaho. They should have hired him years ago.

Think about our last coaching search; it yielded Jim McElwain and Beau Baldwin. One guy became the OC at Alabama and went on to be a bowl-winning coach at an ascending Colorado State program. The other made Eastern the dominant program in the Big Sky despite shitty facilities and a middling budget. I'd say we did pretty good last time around and will do it again when necessary.

I don't blame Coach K for leaving; Eastern's president had no interest in athletics, wasn't paying jack, and wanted to become a Spokane based institution. Montana State was a much better job with a lot more security at that moment. But I think everyone has moved on now.

No, I, too, am pretty happy with Coach Baldwin. That said, I don't remember anyone who played for Coach K who had bad things to say about him. He was the kind of guy who had aspects of being a father figure as well as your crazy uncle who didn't have a verbal filter.

Baldwin and Kramer are completely different animals and I prefer Beau's style, but I still like Mike and hope he does well.
