Idaho State at #2 EWU Game Thread

The right job for Kramer would be U of Idaho. They should have hired him years ago.

Think about our last coaching search; it yielded Jim McElwain and Beau Baldwin. One guy became the OC at Alabama and went on to be a bowl-winning coach at an ascending Colorado State program. The other made Eastern the dominant program in the Big Sky despite shitty facilities and a middling budget. I'd say we did pretty good last time around and will do it again when necessary.

I don't blame Coach K for leaving; Eastern's president had no interest in athletics, wasn't paying jack, and wanted to become a Spokane based institution. Montana State was a much better job with a lot more security at that moment. But I think everyone has moved on now.

No, I, too, am pretty happy with Coach Baldwin. That said, I don't remember anyone who played for Coach K who had bad things to say about him. He was the kind of guy who had aspects of being a father figure as well as your crazy uncle who didn't have a verbal filter.

Great description.

Baldwin and Kramer are completely different animals and I prefer Beau's style, but I still like Mike and hope he does well.

Hope we put the screw to "Mike" today...

Anyone who has access to this forum during the game, could you please post scores/updates throughout the game? I wasn't able to get the day off, and will only be able to check scores on my tablet. I would really appreciate it.

Good luck today Bengals. You guys have a lot of fans in Cheney. We won't be rooting for your boys today, but I hope the program continues to rise and you win a bunch this season.

Posted on Bengal Board.

Who appointed Dopa the "goodwill" ambassador? Congratulate them the victory last week or color of their ties, but "Good luck"? :dunce:

Eastern wins the toss, will defer.

Hill runs to around the 24, holding. 1st down at the 7.

1st down pass to Kupp to around the 26 yard line.

1st down pass to Bourne. Ball on the 45. Passed dropped by Wimberly.

2nd down at the 45.

Ugh. Huge play through the air for ISU.

Another big gain for Mangum. D needs to step up.

2nd down ISU. WR screen for a TD.

ISU 7 EWU 0, 10:51 in the 1st.
