On another note, it's great to see the place packed. North and South endzones are full. My guess is 11k+ at this game.

I can't get over the fact with how great VA and the offense is and how historically bad the defense is. We are on pace to score 70 and the game is in doubt.

No way to sugar coat it. Whoever has the ball last probably wins this game. The past two years our defense was questionable and both of those groups seem to be far superior to this year's group.

Not going to be that hard on the D. without the personal fouls, we have ISU off the field twice. our offense didn't look sharp the last 5 minutes either. feels like a lack of patience and taking what they give you sort of thing. hard to tell with the camera's being what they are. VA will calm down and take what is offered and just looking to see a little more focus and less mental mistakes by way of penalties in the second half. ISU is not beating the Eags today.

Other than just now, I'm not aware of a personal foul keeping the defense on the field. The first two were after a first down and the other was against the offense.

Well, that would make sense for why they've hung 53 on us. Take whatever a team's average is and add 25-30 points.

Lost in all of the discussion about the D is the fact that VA broke the all time record for TDs in the Big Sky today. Congrats to VA, hope the foot thing is nothing serious.
