Here is UI's look forward to PSU: https://govandals.com/news/2018/9/24/football-vandals-host-vikings-saturday.aspx?path=football

For some strange reason the Vandals have not adjusted to the Big Sky like I thought they would. I didn't think they would dominate, but I also didn't think there was a team in the conference that could dominate them like Davis did. I don't know if the Sum Belt recruits just don't have the interest playing "a level down" or if the competition caught them all off guard. We got a win the last time we were playing in the Palouse, but I just don't see us getting one here unfortunately. Maybe a different story if we were playing them here.

Vandal fan here..I'm not sure what to make of our team this year..I remember the games years ago with you guys...always good games..here's to a good injury free game and safe travels for alla y'all..if any of you are making the trip, feel free to stop by my tailgate..between the dome and the powered RV section..look for the Vandal Alley and Fishgate street signs..we are visitor and family friendly..cheers!

Alan will like this one. The game will be broadcast on 103.7 The Legend due to conflict with the Blazers preseason game on Rip City Radio. He should still be able to get it in Monmouth, however. :D

No football travel for us this weekend. I got my live football fix last night up at Lincoln. This time I (and maybe we) will try to listen to the Vikings via https://1037thelegend.iheart.com/. I hope we do better today than the Cardinals did last night.

The game will also be live streamed on Pluto TV. You can watch it live as long as you don't mind listening to the Idaho crew.

Blocked punt for a touchdown, deja vu all over again. Shoot this program and put it out of its misery.

Where to begin? Defense played well and fought until the end. I liked their effort.

What was up with our offensive possessions in the fourth quarter? We took our time snapping the ball, like we were the ones in the lead. Numerous times we ran the play clock below 10 seconds, even though we were two touchdowns away from having a chance. I just don’t understand the lack of urgency. So frustrated!

I didn’t understand it either. There are good kids in this team but some are either playing the wrong position or not playing at all or enough. There’s no urgency during practices either.

If your defense only gives up two field goals and a TD in a Big Sky Conference football game, and you fail to win the game, the loss is on the coaching staff.

Have to agree. Time management is not something the coaches seem to care about. You have two timeouts and down 20 right before halftime and you don't bother to at least try to get some points? And this Idaho defense gave up 44 points to Davis the week before (not to mention 79 to Fresno the same weekend we gave up 72 to Nevada). To win in this conference, you need an offense that can get touchdowns (seems like someone said that recently), especially when you're up against a defense that is as porous as yours.

There are really good kids on this team but the coach for whatever reason will not play them or limit their playing time. There’s an impressive kid on the team who the coach has him at receiver. He looks most impressive but I’m sorry y’all. He’s not a receiver. He should be a linebacker or somewhere the ball is most of the time. It’s a waste to have a physical specimen on the outside like that. He needs to be around the ball more. There’s another impressive kid who I watch in practice just flat out killing it, a receiver. Never sees action. What the hell are these coaches doing??????
