Is it me or has the recruitng fallen off each year with Best? Or is the declining quality of the coaching staff?

3-4 years ago this game isn't close

That’s how it looks to me! The WRs looked awful, and the defensive backs looked completely mediocre.

This game was difficult to watch fellas, and that Eastern offensive play calling was cringeworthy. Eti Ena wet the bed here, he had Eastern looking terrible against A HORRIBLE IDAHO TEAM! That Idaho QB was one of the worst I’ve seen recently, and they beat a ranked Eastern team.

I agree with the above post, with the exception of EB3, the team doesn’t look very talented. It’s time to FIX IT BEST... and put a damn mask on!! GoEags!
Your assessment of Idaho's QB is right where I was at....yikes was the first words coming out of my mouth.

Will this fall be the last for EWU at the FCS level?

Last week's article shows the issues for universities such as EWU that don't have long-standing STEM programs that produce high-income alumni.

Also, consequences from the previous Univ President before she was forced out.

Hoping they continue to play football at FCS level. If they have to choose to drop football and stay D1 for hoops, I'll take that over dropping down to Div 2 or 3.

Without Covid, we wouldn't be here. They would've played Florida last September that would funded a good portion of last year's budget.

Honestly I think we are fine after watching the BOT meeting.

The report sure seemed to indicate that they weren't in favor of changing the status quo. That said, it's fucking absurd that our team and AD have to put up with shit like this every few years. Please let them concentrate on their jobs. Maybe if our university leadership spent more time focusing on theirs, the school wouldn't be 3,000 students smaller than it was under Arevalo.
