If we go all the way in the CIT, do we keep hosting?

As of right now with how bored at work i am i entered into my calculator all the available seats and then did the math there was 5,024 seats available which comes out to 6,976 seats sold. i think after some more time and last minute sales we see an attendance of 8k, and Bovee calles the CIT and offers more money than UNI for us to host!! :twocents:

I think UNI hosting is probably a done deal, IMO. :coffee:

Panther fans on championshipsubdivision are saying they have already been told that if they win on saturday they will host the championship.

If that is the case then it really is all about keeping UNI happy. Too bad, cause the team that deserves to host the whole thing is gonna be forced to the road.

That just means when we beat UNI we Host

what if we beat oru and can pull off the win at NIU?

Who cares...lets keep disrespecting NIU by calling it NIU...Just like how we screw with the cubbies and call it NCU.

But if we do...uh d'uh Weber hosts. I just think it'll be really funny and make the CIT look like complete dumbA$$es tonight when Weber has over 8K show up. Imagine what would happen on a Saturday night? 10K compared to maybe 3K in Cedar Falls? Nice decision idiots at the CIT. NIU won't even win 20 games next year.

uh there is no reason to hate on UNI. attendance clearly isnt a factor. they are playing the home game because they get it. uh....what is wrong with that? we dont even know the process or why we arent getting the game (assuming we win tonight).

the only thing we know is the process in how a team gets an invite into the cit tournament. they publish no data about a bracket or lack there of or how a home game is done/awarded. unless i missed something?

so i think we need to find out more info before we spaz out though i really wanted to see wsu keep winning at home.

also, uni does have the higher RPI and they do have a win over a ranked team then again so did af and cp.

Qrt Finals attendance so far

Loyola @ ECU- 4,512
Bradley @ UNI- 3,390
Evansville @ Canisius- 1,403

Oral Roberts @ Weber State-

as of 9:55 this morning we had 6974 tickets purchased

that means we only need to sell 19 more tkts before tipoff for my prediction. 6,995. also, u realize ur math is flawed right?

how can you have an exact number? you really think all 1,500 or 2,000 or whatever it is for our student section will really be full? how else do u have ur number?

or do you not count the student section? in that case can we expect over 8k?

i am just confused where ur number comes from is all.

I went to the ticket office website, added up all the available seats not counting the student section. took that total number away from 12000

so maybe 8k really will happen. wow. any chance we get a good student showing, maddog? although one tweek to your numbers...when the dee had sellouts in 1977 it was 11,692 and sellouts in 1980 were 11,735. so what is official number? i have seen the dee listed as 12,000 usually but lately wsu athletics shows 11,500. back in the day they didnt have the floor seating either. how many floor seats do we have?
