ISU bus trip - Feb 2

Screw Thursday and Saturday, let's do the d*** thing tonight? Did any of you watch our game with NAU, and see my boy Donnie Carson elevate and throw down on 2 of them? He got a T for "hanging" on the rim... That dude has a 40 inch vert...

You will see the highest vert in the conference on Thurs & Sat...

It isn't even necesary for me to tell you his name...you will quickly find out about WSU's human highlight reel!

Is KJZZ tv station on the dial in Poca?

Well it must be ISU week when Bengal fan decides to crawl out of his cave and make an appearance on our board. When Bengal fan comes to town the crime rate goes up while the IQ goes down. Mullets, sleeve-less shirts and chew also become more prevalent. Also Bengal fan, we don't allow farm animals in the DEE Center which means your gonna have to leave your date at home, and NO that doesn't just mean bring your sister instead.
This last year at Stewart Stadium when Bengal fans came to town it was nice to see they were in their best dress, you know, the sleeve-less flannel shirt with only 1 beer stain on it. Also is that Bengal fan with the Beer dispensing helmet coming down to basketball? He looked REALLY smart. Well he at least fit in with the rest of the Bengal nation.

ouch. now that's good, original smack. much better than spuds. comeon bangelhater, let's see you come up with something like this now.

Ya, I mean, that stuff hasn't been dished out or thought of ever, you original @$$ clown. When a band of skinny, collar-popped, women's jean wearin' EMOS with the scent of mountain dew on their breath come rollin' into town, we'll know Weber's finest sons have arrived. Are you guys gonna hold a multi-level marketing fruit party after both games? I thought so... You know what the funniest thing about Utah is, everyone there thinks it's so neat, but everyone outside your state clowns on you barneys like nobody's business... It is BY FAR the most hated state in the union. But most Americans are homophobes and hate cool guys! Oh, and uh, nice school... A HS degree means more than a degree from Weber Diesel Mechanic Tech...

Hey we are proud of being one of the top five automotive programs in the nation!!

Did you know that ISU had 30% lower enrollment until Utah made a law that you had to be a citzen for 2 yrs to get in-state tuition?

Dude,
You need to calm down Idaho. Don't go mad! Just because you wish you lived in Utah............

:o WOW I must have hit way too close to home for Purplehelmetguy, otherwise why would he be spewing out that type of venom? I can't believe you kiss your, well you get the idea.
So Purplehelmetguy, based upon your fascination on the whole"gay" thing I can now see why you will be starring in "Broke-back Mountain 2, Home on the Range." I would ask how they chose you instead of all those other Bengal fans, but I REALLY don't want to know.
And You make fun of Utah? PLEASE, do you realize you live in Pokey? if I've said it once, I've said it a million times. Pokey is alot like 2 other places, Hell and Tijuana Mexico, but at least Tijuana has good food.
GO WILDCATS!!!

So, Purplehelmet dude, what top 5 program do you have at your little hole of a town? What is it that brings people to Pocafellow? It certainly isn't the Outstanding Football or Basketbball Programs.

Bro, that's like the pot calling the kettle black, being from Ogden... Poky is a sweet place, I grew up in Boise, but like it much better here. Face it, Ogden and Poky are basically the same town. University town with a Railroad past, diversity as far as Idaho and Utah go and a lot of economic progress... Our town is growing and the Economy is really kicking butt. You guys get all butt-hurt, but I'm just messing around... To be honest, if I HAD to live in Utah, it'd either be Ogden up by the University or St. George. You'd be surprised how many nice neighborhoods and beautiful homes there are on the benches in the Poky area. There is a TON of residential and commercial construction going on here. Our town is really taking off. You might all be familiar with Petersen Inc. down in Ogden? They just opened up a new facility here that brought 250 well-paying jobs, so not everything that comes from Utah is bad... ;)

Weber fans can agree on at least one thing then with Poca's!! Stay as far away from Provo (lol) as possible!!

BTW, ISU will have a medical school here in the next 8-10 years. ISU carries the health mission in ID and has great Pharmacy, Biology, dental, and nursing programs. Accounting program is also really strong here. Relax, though. I was just messing around about your school, I realize you all have some nice programs at your school, unlike that wack Ag school in Logan. Oh, unless you want to be a teacher!

I heard ISU's pharmacy program is really good and one of the best in the area. But as far as I know there aren't too many around.

This weeks games are going to be good games. I hope that ISU brings a lot of fans to the game on Thursday. I will be in Poca on Saturday watching the Cats complete the sweep. I'm really glad that ISU is playing their games in the Lol-t again. I wasn't a very big fan of the glorified High School Gym.

Didn't Weber and ISU use to have a rotating trophy?

IF not we should start one! What should the trophy be?

a. a harley-davidson
b. railroad spike
c. a beehive with a potato stuck in it
d. a Wengal...its like a Liger.

I believe that there was a trophy for football that was very similar to the Iron Horse trophy (game played between Ogden High and Ben Lomend High, has two trains facing each other painted in the schools colors. BTW OHS has retired TWO Iron Horses!). Anyway, I saw the trophy in an old Weber yearbook. I think something like this would help out both schools. I'm all about the Wengal!! ;)

maybe in football we had it so long they all forgot about it. we have beat isu in football 21 of the 23 times.

Thats what I'm thinking. There have been only a handful of fights in a game in Big Sky history. Two have occurred with Weber State teams. In 1968 Weber's football team was attacked by the Bozman faithful. Yes, Weber won that game and most importantly the fight. The other happened in Poca in 1991. Once again Weber won the game and the fight. More importantly, with the victory, Weber was assured a place in the Big Sky Tourny, where we were eventually defeated by Nevada in the Semifinals.

I know that pokey has a good accntg program. What I love about Ogden is the closeness of ski resorts, water skiing, golf, hiking, camping, climbing, and etc. Also, I am very excited about what is happening downtown. The Solomon Center, movie theaters, potential hotel and water park. I haven't been to the bench areas to see the nicer parts of Pokey. I do know a number of people that have been through the education program there at ISU. They seemed to like it.
