Next L is coming this weekend folks. We aren't better than ISU. They will kill us. I'm predicted 41 to 6. I also predict 2 personal fouls against Devonte Chapple, 2 personal fouls against Gavin Miller. I'm predicting 3 sacks given up by our offensive line and 4 false starts by our offensive line.

That has been our season, am I right??

Damn, at least with the Downing era teams, we were competitive, with numerous heart breaking losses. We thought another coach could turn those tight losses into tight wins.

Not only did they lose to a team that hadn't beat a division 1 in the last two years, but they got whooped. I knew from the very first ISU drive that UNC wasn't going to win this game. UNC came out flat, no confidence, and unprepared. I think coach Collins's post game comments are become more comical than Downings. Injuries is why your team gives up explosion plays? Uhh no its because you don't prepare your team for that. I refuse to believe its a talent issue with this team, yeah there are some areas where we can use to some better talent, but with the talent on this team there is no way they should be 1-6 right now.

Play calling there is no creativity, what do they only have 10 plays in the playbook? Defense looks awful, not mixing it up. Like I have been saying, what does this staff do all week?

I'm sorry but Seth is mad overrated. He has been so inconsistent this year. He looked awful yesterday.

Lobato is an example of a guy with a lot of empty statistics. He racks up a lot of yards but he never seems to make a clutch or timely play or create something out of nothing.

I wonder if we will see a little more of Rubalcalba. He's the future at QB so it would make sense for him to get more snaps. We have nothing to lose. Preseason I was hoping we would be competing for a playoff spot at about this time of season. We will be lucky to win a conference game at this rate. No harm in playing some of the younger guys. We will lose a lot of seniors after this year.

New to the board, and I'm only a casual observer.
Rambling thought...
Collins isn't the problem it's the OC (if the OC is calling the plays, and game planning).
Unless Collins doesn't have the nut sack to replace the OC.
The line isn't big/good enough to play smashmouth (yet).
He needs to pick up the tempo and call quick slants, draws, screens and quick off tackle pitch/runs.
Use the passing game to set up the run.
Not a drop back deep ball, Seth (or insert QB) doesn't have time.
The OC takes way too long to get the play in (called).
Have the next play ready...
When looking at the roster I couldnt believe all the 5'9" 's...does he have any size?
Get some height outside to create some mis-matches.
My radio cut out in the 3rd qtr vs ISU and I lost interest there after.
The previous home games I noticed on both sides of the ball, complete dissaray on the sidelines...guys were shuffling in and out, and then out and in on the same play.
Get organized.
Utilize/get some height.
Speed up the game.
Create mis-matches.
The defense is being asked to do way too much, caused by too many 3 and outs.

Yes you have a few good observations in there. Myself and a lot of people on this board have been observers for a loooooooooooooooooooog time and don't leave out the Defense. They have had their fair share of mistakes. The secondary weather its their coaching scheme or playing, is atrocious and has been for quite some time. Special teams are so bad. I cant believe this school cannot find kickers. The offensive play calling is terrible. I thought O K Dalton was supposed to have some influence but I have not seen it. And it still comes down to the man in charge !!

Yes...the problems have been every where on defense and a horrible offensive line. It's miserable observing this team.

I'll take UNC to win. Go Bears!

Let the door hit you on the ass on the way out!!

WTF KlondikeBear? You must be "special". Why try to tear me down for supporting our team? Your comment is just plain pathetic (as usual).

if the offense is not working and the defense is in disarray and players are confused on the sidelines and the OC and DC are a problem and the strength coach is a problem.... At what point does all of this lie on the head coach's shoulders? 1-6 is 1-6 and the only constant here is Collins....

Game after game....year after year. 3 years of sacrifice what everyone (including the U of Colorado) already knew....he doesn't have the skill set to play QB. But I bet he dominated his neighborhood street football games.

It won't be Rubalcalba next year..... look for a transfer to come in. One of Collins "boys".....book it!
