I wonder if we will see a little more of Rubalcalba. He's the future at QB so it would make sense for him to get more snaps. We have nothing to lose. Preseason I was hoping we would be competing for a playoff spot at about this time of season. We will be lucky to win a conference game at this rate. No harm in playing some of the younger guys. We will lose a lot of seniors after this year.

It won't be Rubalcalba next year..... look for a transfer to come in. One of Collins "boys".....book it!

Rubalcalba is a Collins "Boys." He recruited him to UNC. Not Downing.

if the offense is not working and the defense is in disarray and players are confused on the sidelines and the OC and DC are a problem and the strength coach is a problem.... At what point does all of this lie on the head coach's shoulders? 1-6 is 1-6 and the only constant here is Collins....

Talk about hitting the nail on the head! I encourage everyone to watch the mannerisms of this HC and his staff during a game. It will give you valuable insight into the disarray you see on the field. Unorganized, over-emotional, over-critical, finger pointing, the list goes on and on and on...Halftime must be a bitch session every game with little to no discussion on strategy or adjustments to make.

There are two points of every game where true coaching ability has the opportunity to shine. The first is at the beginning of the game where the game plan that has been worked on ALL WEEK shows itself. That's offense, defense and special teams! The second is coming out from halftime where adjustments are made to take advantage of what the defense is giving up and modifications are made to stop the opposing offense.

Now ask yourself, how many games have shown that we are prepared coming out or make good adjustments coming out in the 3rd quarter?

You can talk about the talent but I don't see where we get physically dominated week in and week out. What I do see is that we get out-schemed week in and week out and that my friends is Coaching 101.

I totally agree with your last paragraph. I also don't see us being physically dominated . I have no idea what they are seeing in the booth but all of us sitting in our seats see what the hell is going on and can't believe our eyes what we are seeing. Yes, outschemed, out planned , out coached. Sometimes players look totally confused but being physically dominated, I don't see it. Geez I hate to have to bitch over and over !

I can tell you we get physically dominated every week in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
