Playing on a high school football field for one last time, two Emmett Huskie seniors contributed to a 34-28 victory for the East squad at the East-West Shriner’s All-Star Football game on Nov. 28 at Eagle High School. Defensive guard Daniel Heck had three tackles and pressured the West quarterback into an interception while Tight End Luke Hyde beat double coverage in the end zone to snag a second half touchdown pass from Capital High’s Connor Poulson. The annual Thanksgiving weekend classic showcases the best seniors from among the area high school football programs.
Heck, a four-year varsity lettermen, earned his spot on the East team after a year that saw him grab the Snake River Conference defensive player of the year award. He finished his senior campaign with 67 tackles including 25 for a loss and four sacks.
Three-year varsity letterman Hyde, the East starting tight end, earned first team SRV all-conference honors as a linebacker with 39 tackles including 11 for a loss, eight sacks and a pair of interceptions.
Both of the Huskie standouts plan on taking their game to the collegiate level next season. Hyde is mulling over multiple options that include interest from both the University of Idaho Vandals and the Boise State Broncos. Heck has accepted a full-ride scholarship to join the Bengals of Idaho State University in Pocatello as a defensive tackle.

I knew Kramer and Bailey would go after another high school quarterback and they got another good one in Robert Kvinsland. Sorry boisebengal and others. Your Drop Down and JUCO QB's will not be signed this season as Kramer and Bailey went after a high school QB three years in a row now. These young QB's are the future and will not be leaving the program as Kramer and Bailey invested their time in them getting them ready to play in the future. We have enough QB's now on the team now so will be giving out other offers to players in other positions. Time to belly up to the table and eat some crow. lol

They already have signed a jc transfer qb in Tommy Jewell from Snow College. Perhaps they may sign another transfer, we'll see. You're assuming that Trae Pilster for sure is coming back and one of the others. And a team's QB roster changes quite frequently.

You're dead wrong once again. He'll be our punter but will compete at the qb position. Remember despite what you want Kramer won't offer schollys to punters.

Do you really believe a walk-on that is coming here as a non-scholarship QB will have a chance in starting in front of a scholarship QB player on the team? If you believe that than it is best Kramer and Bailey not give out scholarships to QB's entering the program. Crow...

I really BELIEVE you are the LAUGHING stock of this board. Please do everyone and yourself a favor and DON'T POST! #subpost

Cub now that this thread has been totally hijacked, can I suggest you lock it and maybe start another thread that lists the commitments we know, which can be pinned to the top of the board? Thanks.
