Jace Davis Released

Shortly after noon today Jace Davis was waived by the Baltimore Ravens. Bobby Engram was quoted as saying that Jace has all the tools to play in the NFL however was very inconsistent during training camp when it came to catching the football.

That sucks. I hope he gets another chance with a different team.

The Ravens will finalize their practice squad on Saturday. Had Cox not been signed yesterday to sure up their DB's Jace may have had one more oppurtunity in tonights preseason game.
Engram thinks Jace can play the game...........he may have a shot to make the practice squad however their are other Raven WR's on the bubble.............
Anything could happen tonight.........it only takes a sprained ankle................

I suppose it's also a long shot that Lobato is kept on for the 'Phins. It wasn't that long ago that UNC had 4-5 players in the NFL at one time. Now we only have one. hno:
