@ Team Holt, sadly think the article represents a fairly accurate preview of the game. I hope we can score more and do more in stopping Nevada, but I am not at all confident. I've followed the Vikings too long to be an optimist, I'll leave that to you and @bigskyconf. I'll be listening and leaning forward on offense and backwards on defense. Have a good trip to Reno.
 
Here's something that an Idaho fan posted on Championship Subdivision. Because of it, he is taking us over Nevada (he also has Davis over San Jose and NAU over UTEP, kind of a Big Sky trifecta).

Myself, I am a bit more optimistic than the Nevada homers. I think we keep it close through 3, then Nevada breaks it open. I can't see us winning (but then again, I didn't see us beating Wazzu in 2015).
 
Well the more I read the more it seems we could have a fighting chance to pull off another Wazzu. It is going to depend on our new O-line, our DB's, and our play calling, all of which I drift towards pessimism. I feel pretty good about the front 7 on defense though.

Ha. Well @bigskyconf its a new season and we are undefeated in 2018. What's the old saying..."Hope springs eternal". I can't change my 2-9 prediction but it would sure be nice to be proven wrong. I'll be the second one cheering right behind you :kisswink:
