Kennesaw St @Weber

I remember seeing how well Coach Hill game planned a tough Western Illinois team. I think he will have them ready.

I think the cold and possible bad weather along with elevation could affect the Owls. I think Weber State wins 31-17.

FCS playoffs are so much better than the FBS dog and pony show.

i dont think i would go as far as saying 70 to nothing dominating victory like Utah Pirate but i do believe we will get this win on our home turf.

Both picking Weber, 28-10 and 21-10.

I doubt the weather will affect the Owls all that much, they are a running team who has played many of thier games this year in poor weather. The altitude is more likely to affect them. But I also doubt it does. Weber just needs to play thier game and hold Kennesaw's running attack in check and We win

Does anybody know when they arrived and practiced?

It's typical for teams to fly in the day before the game and have a walk-through that evening.
I was just wondering what they will be seeing and experiencing as they arrive and make the short trip to Ogden. I drove on 89 from SLC to Ogden this evening and the fog/smog was thick and a bit foreboding. If they come in during the day tomorrow, they will see all of the snow covered mountains and the fog/smog covering the valley floor. I would imagine that it is a bit intimidating to some flatlanders. I also love the way that planes bounce on the fog as they descend for landing. Fun times in the Rockies.

Welcome to Utah, KS Owls. Welcome to the Mountains that we all love. Hope you all have a safe trip.

Looks like they're flying Allegiant? Well then they can fly right into Ogden International  The view of the mountains today is better...I'll spread a giant "GO WILDCATS" on my roof here in Roy for them to see. :)

Welcome! Hope you packed your long johns & heavy coats. Mostly, hope the Wildcats are ready & primed for a good win at Stewart Stadium tomorrow!

I saw the stadium lights on this morning at 7:30 when I got to campus. I am guessing one team or the other was out getting in some practice.

Probably just prepping the stadium as I doubt Weber was practicing at 7:30 AM. Kennesaw St was still in Atlanta, or on route to Chattanooga. For some reason they flew out of Chattanooga.

Game day!

Looks like decent football weather. Hope both teams show up ready to play. Hard to get a read on this one. Very good defense against a prolific offense.

Jay Hill has had two weeks to prepare for this game. I think Weber will load the box and force the Owls to throw. Our secondary has been suspect a few times with poor man coverage and bad angles to the ball. We cannot allow long touchdowns.

I think Weber will be the best team Kennesaw has seen in a couple of years.

Weber 33-27

I have been worried about exactly what we're seeing play out. I hope Hill & Co. can get things turned around for the 2nd half. Defensively, I'm just not sure Weber's strength-- run D-- is good enough when individual responsiblies are key. Offensively, I suspected the run game wouldn't be up to par and they have to illiminate the dumb mistakes and get a better effort from the larger line.

Hated the decision to go for two. Don’t need to give up points early. The red zone offense is ineffective, too.

Still, I think the Wildcats always come out with a strong second half. I think they can figure it out and win this game.

Big second half by the defense. Only complaint I have is why offense goes ultra conservative when a crushing blow can be dealt.

I think KS was the toughest draw and has some skill. I am glad they felt rushed with 2 1/2 minutes and two timeouts and went away from their strength immediately.

Great game. I think this helps with preparation for next week vs Montana’s draw.

It will be a big one and a sellout with the Griz fans traveling. I think the Wildcats are up for revenge.

Go Wildcats!
