Kyndahl Hill

I love this pick up. Session with height, but can shoot the 3. Al Hamilton type.

Potential that Loveridge can only dream about.

As he places his focus on hoops this year, and under Rahe I think he becomes a great player for us.

I agree...Hill is still a bit raw. Like I said in an earlier post, he has been focusing on football, but now that he will focus solely on basketball he will blossom and really grow into a great player.

What we have here is a high major athlete, with mid major skills. A very good get for us. USU recruited him as a sure bet 4. We recruited him as a 3 that needs to get some work done. It didn't hurt us, at all, that USU is in a crumbling league that is begging some of the poorest teams in Texas to join its ranks.

Hill would have been a high major pick if he were a bit more polished and had a more consistant outside shot. That is what we are banking on developing in him. If he does the work, he is going to be a great player for us. He doesn't have to be a great 3 point shooter, he just needs to develop as a good/consistant shooter from 15 to 18 ft. Defensively, he is a beast who can guard anything from big guards to power forwards. He can be a star for us right now, but can be a superstar with a little work.

I think he will do the work and become everything he wants to be. He will be a bigger, more athletic, version of KB.

This should conclude our recruiting for this year. It gives us an early start on next years and beyond. Good job, coaches.     :notworthy: :notworthy:

great to hear about this verbal. i believe his top 2 were weber and usu. i am sort of surprised to see 2 recruits in the past 2 months choose weber over usu. loveridge put us in his top 3 and knocked off usu. now hill!

hill will not regret his decision. playing for rahe will be a good experience, not to mention the even more important reason about playing for rahe....he will graduate from college!

i am equally excited for this yr's team and next yr's. which will be better?

Yikes!! This is a huge addition to our program.

Next year, yes we lose Bull and Mahoney, but I'm not to worried, even though I will miss both of them a lot they are great players and even better guys, Mook and Berry will fill in the void nicely. Also, with a year under their belts Hajek and Tresnak will be that much more experienced. To bad Berry isn't eligible to play this year. HE IS DAMN GOOD!!

Hill and Bolomboy on the same time will be 2 big time athletes in the Big Sky, will be very exciting to see them out on the court together!

It will be somewhat similar to when Art and Patten were on the floor together. Yikes, but scarier!!

USU pulled their offer, he no longer had a scholarship available for him and that is when he committed to you guys.

I wouldn't say Loveridge "chose" WSU over USU, either

SSS has admitted he has no info on anything regarding Hill. He wouldn't know, sorry. I've heard it from other people besides Geo, too, including a basketball player.

But keep thinking anyone would chose WSU over USU ever... :willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs:

Aggie basketball has been making excuses all year for their terrible recruiting class. They got beat out by Utah for Loveridge and Weber for Hill. They gotta make up excuses for the fanbase to circulate on their message board.

If it was due to a drinking incident as your board suggests it speaks volumes to the type of recruiting processes that your university uses. I would be furious as a parent to send my child to USU to find out he spent the night in jail for underage drinking. Where did he get the booze from? Aren't you responsible for the kid, who is miles away from home? The recruiters were the ones who got him drunk. I know too well the type of "jack mormonry" that goes on up north.

Yes, and you keep getting your information from the most biased of sources. And then believe it. :willybs: :willybs:
