please no more trolling, enough from both sides. this trash talk back and forth just makes weber st and utah st look stupid for anyone that reads this thread. and on top of it to, for us to be arguing with a newb aka student is even more pointless. no offense metsjets.

hardly anyone EVER knows what really goes on with recruiting until after the fact. after the fact = when a recruit starts class. until a player starts school any communication with a player is an ncaa violation even if they have signed their letter of intent. as well it is really hard for a weber fan or a usu fan to prove anything without a scholarly source which a fan board or hearsay is not.

Shut Up, already. Try not to take the board so serious when
it comes to back & forth smack.

Point #1. Stew Morrill REALLY, REALLY, hates to lose recruiting battles, and would NEVER ADMIT to anyone that he lost on a recruit.

Point #2. Stew Morrill really, really, wanted this recruit. (Hill)

Probably because I like reading Tals posts.

I like reading yours too, except when you act like this forum needs to portray some self - skewed image to the World.

Hill is a big signee for Weber State. We have him. USU does not. I don't give a damn how/who/what/why; that is all behind us.

MJA, it is all good. We all have a lot of passion for our respective teams. As for Hill, I don't know anything about the situation either. However, it does seem really strange to me that a program would pay a lot of $$$ to bring a player in for a visit. Wine and dine him for a weekend, and then suddenly drop him. Not saying it didn't happen, but to me, it seems really wasteful. I do know that Weber has brought in players in the past and then rescinded offers, so I'm sure it does happen. My theory on the whole situation is that Stew really wants a 4 and saw Hill as his man. Yes, Hill can play the 4, but wants to be a 3. Weber needs a 3 and is willing to take a shot on Hill. He has the ability and talent to become an excellent player. He has a hell of a lot of upside and potential, but he will need some development. I'm thinking now that he is only focusing on basketball that he will be able to develop a little quicker. Nevertheless, that might be the point. Stew needs a 4 and Hill doesn't want to play the 4. Also, he can get on the floor a lot quicker at Weber than he could at USU.

One thing that should worry USU fans is the fact that Stew is still looking for a 4 in the 2012 class, when he already has one signed in Bair. I could be wrong, but I thought Bair was coming in to play the 4, or is primarily a 3? Anyway, whatever happened, I'm really glad that Weber got Hill. He has a lot of the same characteristics that a couple of former Cats had. Namely, Al Hamilton, Bruce Collins, and Stan Mayhew. He has the potential of being like these three, he isn't now. Right now, he has the potential of being a lock down defender, he is long and fast, and can take over a basketball game with his offensive abilities; he has a nice looking outside shot, knows how to get to the basket, and can play in the paint. Also, he has the potential to grow another inch or two. That is never a bad things, especially if he has nice range.

Utah State can definately kiss our A$$. Easily the most annoying fanbase in the State, and that's saying something. I mean just reading MJA posts the last 3 wks, They're almost all douchebags.

What we would all like to do to Skeeder: :dead:

"The Humble Wildcats returned to district play this week as champions.

After taking the required time off for Christmas, they made the most of their first games back, knocking off four Class 5A teams en route to the championship of the Kingwood Holiday Classic.

They defeated North Shore 67-62 in the tournament final behind a monster effort from Kyndhal Hill, who had 27 points and 14 rebounds. They also beat Madison, Langham Creek and Cypress Falls.

"It was huge," Humble coach David Martinez said."

Great find WSUCATFAN... Sounds like Hill is quickly taking his game to the next level.

Can you find any information on his season averages or game by game stats?
