Looks like WSU signed a DII scorer, Darweshi Hunter. 6 foot 5 wing scorer, averaged 20.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.9 steals as a freshman. Shot 51% from the floor at 38.5% from 3. Second highest scorer in all DII. Scored 35 points against the Wright State team that thumped WSU last year. If he can continue to improve and play good defense this could be a great pickup. I remember Davion Berry as a great DII pickup for WSU a couple of years ago. I hope this kid pans out.

After a couple of rough recruiting years, I'm hoping these spring additions are going to help right the sinking ship that is Wildcat Basketball. According to the Hein (does he realize that fans buy subscriptions? Maybe he should calm down a bit on twitter and facebook and become an actual journalist...impartial and neutral.) all four additions (Brown, Bassett, Porter, and Hunter) are eligible immediately. I thought that Hunter played last year and since he is leaving a DII to come to a DI he has to sit for a season. I'm definitely not complaining that he chose Weber. I'm really glad he did chose Weber (WELCOME DARWESHI to WILDCAT COUNTRY), but why is he automatically eligible. Just curious. Being eligible is also awesome for the Cats. Definite win win.
Looks like Randy is trying to add an entirely new rotation.
