• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Looks like Tad's weighing his options

I know Tad is a great coach but he still hasn't won a game in the Big Sky Tournament, and I can't see one of the "big" schools (at least ones with winning tradition) giving an offer to a guy who is still unproven. At this point, UNC probably has the best chance of making the Dance of any school he could coach next year. If he goes to another program, it will be to rebuild a cellar dweller in a major conference, which would mean the Dance would be at least a few years out for him. And if he goes to the wrong school, he could find himself in some quagmire (like Joe Glenn at WY) and basically ruin his career. However, if he gets it done here next year, he could probably pick and choose between some really good offers.

He is so close to turning the corner here at UNC; I think he wants to stick around to finish the job. I think we are safe for one more season.

I think he knows he hasn't proved himself yet.....My bet is CU (assuming the Bzdelik rumors are true) might have a look though...Wichita State (if Gregg Marshall leaves for Clemson) might as well.

From what I've read it's a done deal that Bzz is leaving for WF. I hope they don't go after Tad and if they do, I hope he rejects them like he did years ago as a player.

It doesn't matter what is the best situation if someone comes in and quadruples his salary he'll be gone and then fail at someplace like CU or Oregon. The history books are riddled with people that tried to step up and lost...

From what i hear, CU will try to hit the "home run", so to speak, and go after Randy Bennett from St Marys. If Bennett won't bite, they'll promote Steve McClain.
