All of these rankings and computer models are invalid and will remain so until two things happen. Well actually three. First the NCAA needs to grow a pair. After that happens (never), then they can legislate scheduling rules that eliminate the, so called, money games where victories are purchased. That could be accomplished by establishing a rule limiting the number of purchased victories and requiring all other OOC game contracts to be home and home. Next, a newly emboldened NCAA could take over the scheduling and administration of officiating. by doing that, they could eliminate the fixing of games by those who have the resources to do it.
Since none of that will be happening any time soon, things will remain the same. There is a well established glass ceiling in the NCAA. :twocents:
