We lost by 11 at NAU and won by 1 in Greeley. NAU will not get rattled if we jump on them early so we will need to fight hard the entire game and hope our shot fall.

The game is on Altitude for those that can't make it (and as always the audio is on KFKA if the Altitude guys suck).

In the two games that we have played against NAU, one being a W and the other a L. We have played bad basketball pretty much the entire 2 games. The difference at home was that we knocked down a few more shots and got a 1 point win. I think that this UNC team has something to prove vs NAU. They know that with the #1 seed they have a huge target on their back. They also know that they have played anything from their best basketball vs the Jacks. I think with a packed house UNC is going to come out strong but the key is they have to keep the momentum on their side. They have to defend Jones, Rogers, and maybe right now most of all Platt. The key to this game is taking their big man out of game and taking care of glass. I'll be their in attendance and hoping we can improve our home record to 13-0. GO BEARS!

Defense will be the key the game Tuesday night. UNC can't give Jones, Rogers and Platt open looks at 3's.
If Montana State almost beat NAU on the road, the Bears should beat them at home. The two extra days of rest and not having to travel will help UNC's chances, not to mention the home crowd. It should be a fun night at Butler Hancock! Go Bears!!

So apparently the Student activities center is paying for 480 student tickets for each game. So many student who get there early wont have to pay a dime for a ticket. I'm happy I have my ticket I won't have to worry about standing in a line!

Lets GO Bears. After attending the game against DU in the beginning of the season, I would have never thought this team would be where they are. Thank goodness we are at home.

That is awesome!!!

The reason why EWU won at the Dee Events Center on Wednesday was because of money. Do you understand the the Big SSky Tournament being held at Butler Hancock Arena is a major setback moneywise for the conference, I don't care what kind of financial support you have, it is a major setback for the Sky. Butler Hancock holds 2,500 people. If you guys lost to NAU, which I think you will, you would still have a packed stadium from Weber fans alone.

You're right being #1 in the conference gives you a huge target on you're back, and still you only beat NAU by sone at home. There is going to be a completely different NAU team show up to Hancock than was there before, and they're going to be out for blood. I just hope UNC will be up to the challenge. I mean, the only person that they need to stop will be Beitzel and they have plenty of kids that can do that. They have toughness and quickness that UNC doesn't.

So it sufficeth me to say at this point... Good Luck!

and...

I hope you lose!

Plus, I think anybody on this board should have a chat with GoBears2010 according to our fans forum he has a major problen with his potty mouth.

WOW! You are the most uneducated basketball fan ever. We have 4 seniors who can all score at will. Not to mention the tickets are sold in packs so it doesn't matter win or lose the tickets are all sold! GO PLAY IN TRAFFIC!

LOL. Do you know this because it happened a few years ago when Weber was upset by Montana St, I think it was, and the title game there was about 3 fans in the stadium??

Enough with the stadium talk, seriously, just makes Weber fans sound even more bitter. The Big Sky approved the notion that UNC was willing and able to host the conference tourney. I'm sure they know A LOT more on how the numbers actually work than you or any other Weber fan. UNC will ready for NAU and expect a good game. I don't know why you're worried about us, you should be worried about your game with Montana.

I still don't understand how you link this to the Weber-NAU game?

Purplehaze is an idiot. He comes over here because nobody on WeberFans will listen to him. I think he smoked to much purple haze!! Go BEARS !!!!!

I have never seen so may different people saying the #1 seed is going to lose at home. I mean you would think we were playing as the low seed. I think as long as we can play smart basketball we should come away with a victory. I am the first one to say that NAU has some mismatches for UNC but I think with a sell out home crowd and the city behind this team it should be a Bears win.

Considering we are undefeated at home, it's going to take a special effort to beat us. Granted, I could see why Weber State would not put a lot of import on home court advantage since it did not work out well last season for them.

ALL YALL CAN MARK MY WORDS... WHATEVER HAPPENS WEBER WILL GO UNDEFEATED NEXT YEAR AND WIN A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!! JUST LIKE 1949!

I think rational people all consider UNC the favorite, 123. The home records of the top 4 conference teams are simply too great to ignore.

That said, I also think most rational people believe that there is only a sliver of difference between the top 4 teams, and that any of them can win it. When it comes to tournaments, experience often plays a key role, and that is perhaps one area where UNC doesn't have an advantage. No matter, I think we're going to see 3 terrific BB games.

Can't argue with that. Well said. :thumb:
