We are 6-5 once again, and not in the playoffs.
We experienced 7 yrs. of pain.
SPERBECK, YOU'RE FIRED!

I just saw an important coach in my life get canned late last night with no explanation other than the nebulous "we're going in another direction." We might rationally argue for that next week, but we can't do that tonight.
The other thing to consider is where we are compared to where we were when Sperbeck got here. If you can't admit that we're tons better now than we were under Mooshagian, there's something wrong there. Sure, we've plateaued, and that MIGHT be a reason to make a switch. But even THIS year we won games that we wouldn't have even last year (i.e. SUU) after it SEEMED that we'd gone in the tank.
Overall, I'm willing to give Sperbeck one more shot at the playoffs before dropping the axe. The gulf between our current status and where we were after Mooshagian tanked what Volek had done is immense.

Anyone posting a Sperbeck should be fired thread after a loss is clueless/irrational/emotional.Super Hornet said:mattman_121 said:This is one of the funnier things I have seen in a while. You are an emotional/irrational fan-antic you lack long term perspective.
This might be a good time for you to define to WHOM you're speaking. A simple quote job would do the trick. I don't see Buckeye being excessively emotional in THIS thread....
