Jack Maugh will resign his coaching duties, but will focus his time and efforts on his other responsibilities within the athletic department. Hopefully this doesn't lead him to have more time to enable his drinking problem.

For what it's worth, Jack's one of my favorite people in the department as is Jay Hinrichs.

That is a ridiculous thing to say about someone who has done as much for the university and the wrestling program as Jack. Only an idiot like you would defend Downing and Hinrichs and attack Jack. You have no clue.

Getting a DUI is an extension of alcoholism. I was raised without a father because mine was killed by a drunk driver. I have zero tolerance for DUI's. I've been in situations when I knew I couldn't drive home after a few drinks and I've given my keys to someone else. It's not that hard of a decision.

I thought it was kind of weird because just a few days before this they had posted an article about the wrestling team signing 4 more new kids. Hope they stick around. I think Cherrington would a candidate for the head job.

Every person in the world who has a DUI is an alcholic? That is quite a leap you are making there. No one said driving drunk is a good idea but you are making quite a leap to accuse the man of being an alchoholic.

That might be a bad generalization, but I think it's safe to say he's got a drinking problem. Do you know anyone that gets a DUI that doesn't have a drinking problem? I don't.

Has? Had? All I'd like to do is win a few football games, is asking for 4 too much? I'm sick of being a laughing stock under the current regime.
