I thought about it but between our Washington Capitals season tickets and a new dog, money is a bit short.

Just hope Michigan State doesn't look past Notre Dame with their big game against us next week.

If you go to the game let everyone know about the experience and atmosphere in the stadium.
Hahaha Michigan State better be prepared for the Bears

Wow, Mark Dantonio (MSU head coach) had a mild heart attack after the Notre Dame game yesterday. I am glad that he is okay, and wish him well. MSU certainly has a lot to play for on Saturday.

Just modified the opening post to include the National satellite radio feed on Sirius 121 and XM 141.

Edit: Just added the BigTen tv channels as well (For DirecTV channel 612 or 612-1 (HD))

I believe it's channel 410 (Big 10 Network) for Comcast. The game is a Noon start in Lansing so that will be a 10am start here.

Correct on both counts, though the Big 10 Net is only if you have Digital Preferred or the Sports Tier packages. As an HD subscriber, I'm still hot at them for moving NFL Network to the same.

i'll be in lansing with the wife and flying colors! who else is going? according to mr hash, there are about 200 or so traveling. will see about that by who is sitting in the stands with me, lol.. any pregame party plans???? bloody mary's at the raddison anyone? i'll buy the 1st round at 8am saturday morning.

anyway, i just hope we come out of this game without too much trouble. i expect us to play well, be competetive, and finally be overwhelmed by one of the best teams in the country...but please, no major injurys..... it would be nice to come back home and have a real good shot at montana the following saturday.

all that being said, its a great day for unc football. atop the win loss column in the big sky for the 1st time ever, 2 home wins, a tuff ot loss, and now a big pay day for the school....... maybe some 2 and 3 star athletes will watch this game and consider unc a destination for their education and football future...

As in any time we play a good FBS team I just hope for three things First, keep the game respectable. Second, No more major injuries, we need everyone back healthy for Montana. Third, Take the paycheck and leave. Does anyone know how much we're making on this game?

I've heard from a fairly reliable source that we're getting $550K. I'd like to cover the spread this week, which is 30.5.

If you haven't jumped on board already, follow Northern Colorado Athletics on Twitter! This is a great weekend to do it, as you'll get behind-the-scenes updates from the road in East Lansing and ensure you're all set for the best insider coverage of all Northern Colorado teams, including men's basketball, which begins practice Oct. 15!

The Bears are making strides across the board right now ... make sure you're in the know!

It seems that most fans would be happy with a respectable showing but I can't help but feel that we have a shot at winning this game after seeing some pretty big upsets by FCS teams over the FBS. (South Dakota beating Minnesota, for example, which makes our win against them last year a little better.)

I'm always curious what the players think and whether they are just going in with the goal of making a respectable showing or if they really are pumping themselves up for a shot at a little glory. I personally think they are going for the W and if things fall in place and MSU has a little bad luck, it could happen.

With that being said, I will be bummed with a loss but I won't criticize the team or downing if it happens.

I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem in Colorado but the Big Ten Network is showing the Iowa vs Ball St game and not the UNC Game where I live.

Game over. 45-7 Michigan State. I thought this might be a big closer. The only thing I'm dissapointed is from Orms performance. He didn't have his usual game today. Couldn't hit open receivers and threw 3 picks. He's a better QB than he played today. On the flip side Laboto did look good. No major injuries from what I know. Hewitt had an ankle worked on during the 3rd Qt, but don't know the extent.

On to Montana next week.

Beardown you are so wrong, Laboto looked terrible, he got lucky to hit for the td, all he wants to do is run did not seem to know what was going on and had a pick. I have to agree with you regarding Orms, with his 3 picks and inaccurate throws, his performance was unacceptable. BTW what ever happened with Dean and Baca they were doing so good at the many practices I saw they both looked strong. Special teams has not done well in any of the games so far, however the o- line has looked good . Glad the team got out of the game without serious injuries. Big Bear must be drinking something very strong to think the Bears had a chance of winning the game. The penalties against Michigan and their kicker kept the score down, it could have easily been 59-7 Next week will tell the story, so far with lots of luck, and penalties against the opposition the Bears have fared well . Lets hope the luck does not run out.
