@ Michigan State gameday thread

i've been at all the games this year, i have not been at all impreesed with either qb we have ran onto the field in all 4 games.ok, yesterday was a big 'step up' in talent. still orms was horrible. all three of those picks could have been adverted. the first two were thrown with no touch on the ball and right into double coverage. also with the best lb in the country underneath in both cases! he thinks he can squeeze it in there? orms has been forcing the ball since adams st. the third pic, wow! across your body and across the field. orms, that was'nt adams st. in those green uni's! coaches need to make a change now! we could have won at weber had it not been for orms and his bad decissions. his knee is gimpy, they're shooting him up with cortizone and expect him to be 'fine' nice job coach pete!
onto labato. are you kidding me? he sucks! does not know the offense at all. nice job on those first three plays. hand off to air left, hand off to air right , roll out right to hand off to air again! wtf? thats the best we can do? we looked stupid! again, nice job coach pete!
are they scared to put the california kids in? do they think that its a colorado kid or nothing? or does coach pete enjoy having orms and laboto's high school coaches and there family up his ass all the time? i guess it must feel good to him, but, i really thought coach pete would be fair on trying out all the qb's. that has'nt happened. and now i'm not sure it will.
i wish coach downing would step in and guide our beloved coach pete a little.
i'm happy with alot of what i have seen this year so far with this team. there mile's ahead of teams past. but still in need of a quality qb. don't get me wrong. the darnells straight up sucked! and the new guys have great minds for the game and are making this team so much better. but our 6' 185lbs qb needs to be sat down. let the cali kids drive the boat a little while, and yesterday should have been a chance for them all to show there 'game'.

I think Dylan Orms just had one of those games where everything that can go wrong went wrong. A case of just trying to do too much and the more he tried to get out of trouble the more he got into trouble. I think a lot of it was just his nerves getting to him playing in front of so many people and thinking that the whole team was on his shoulders. He will learn from this and in the end it will make him a better quarter back. He seems to be a high energy type of person that can get too excited and just needs to control that energy and know how to use it to his advantage. I think our whole team will be a better team now that this game is behind them. They will settle down and play with the confidence it takes to win the coming games in our conference.

Mr.Lippy,
I see where you know quite abit more than the coaches who have watched these kids all last season, spring practice, fall camp, and every day this season. Do you think that a coach who is on a one year contract would not put the best QB on the field. Yes Deen and Baca may look good in practice when there are no live bullets flying, but I've seen them in scrimmages and Dylan Orms is the best QB of the bunch.

Let us not forget that Dylan has only 4 starts under his belt and he did look overmatched last Sat. at Michigan state, as would any QB put into that situation. Lets try to stay positive and get the young men a victory over Montana.
