• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

MLS to Portland Thread

Question....

When the new MLS team comes to town, will they just assume the Portland Timbers franchise? Are will they get a entirely brand new name?

They will retain the name 'Timbers.'

Did anyone go to the game ('scuse me , match) against Puerto Rico last night? More than 14,000 people, great atmosphere, great night. I find myself going to more and more Timber games.

Yeah, I made that mistake for the Sounders game.

Tonight was pretty good, too. Fewer people but actually really good soccer.

Maybe some of the Army opted to stay at the Oregon Brewers Festival. I saw quite a bit of Timbers shirts there yesterday afternoon.
