• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Montana is coming to town

For me the volume/level was fine (though it did cut off a couple of times). It just sounded like you were in a tin can and I never had that problem off the online KFKA feed. I will pull it up on Saturday with the B2tv and the kfka feed to see how different they sound.

Yeah, it cut out because I was forgetful with the trigger finger. I have a mute on the transmitter, so if I need to converse to my board op it doesn't go over b2tv.

As for the difference in sound: the video is getting a clean feed from my equipment. The KFKA streaming undergoes some EQ at the studios before going online.

Ahhh, that makes a lot of sense. I really like the NASCAR scanner aspect of it where if you are at a race listening to the radio feed on the scanner you can hear everything they are saying during the break. It's a lot of fun but I could see why you wouldn't want that going out over the air.

Good luck tonight Bears. This would be a hell of Montana sweep if the can pull it off tonight.
