Montana and Montana State have officially opted out of the FCS spring championship season. Bobcats, Griz say in press release they will attempt "modified spring schedule."

I have read all the reasons and excuses of why they opted out yet they plan on playing a non conference schedule ? Seems kind of contradicting to me . And will the rest of the teams start falling like dominoes ??
