My guess is montana is keeping the playbook pretty limited but hopefully theres some learning points from the San Diego game.

Yep. We need to get some hits on him when he's in the pocket and keep him contained when he scrambles. Ebukam needs to be more of a presence in the pass rush in this game.
The two biggest areas that need improvement in this game over the previous one are pass rush and running game. Gotta improve in those two areas if we're gonna win.

There is a reason why the griz have not run much zone read or allowed their quarterback to run much. He is beat up from getting whacked a lot and is prone to injury. He is still hobbled by a high ankle sprain. You are correct, simply keep him in the pocket and he will once again force throws into coverage. If for some reason they try more zone read, then have Tevin McDonald spy him and totally shut him down.clawman said:
