Montana State @ Eastern Washington: GDT

Well, I thought we were off to our first complete game today. Didnt happen. Found a way to hang on though. Good win.
 
Now I can see why your so hard to beat at home. Numerous no calls on interference and late hits on quarterbacks. I would be real proud of this win

Seriously? MSU turned the ball over like 5 times in this game. Hard to win any game doing that.

Same here. I like that we found really good balance on offense (224/227), but the penalties are killing us. It'd be nice to get some guys back from injury, too. Lots of new faces out there.

There were some missed calls. I don't know if it effected the outcome of the game that much, but bad calls are part of the game. We deal with it too.

I am proud of Eastern getting this win. The most egregious call that went in Eastern's favor was the non call for PI on Webster in the end zone, and MSU scored a TD on that drive anyway. There were bad late hit calls on both teams, EWU had 4 more penalties called on them than MSU and had a TD taken away by penalty. If you want to blame the refs go for it, but the long and short is that Eastern is just better than MSU.
 
When your own announcers replayed multiple no calls and emphatically stated they couldn't believe there was no penalty there must have been an issue. No different than the few hundred posts you guys flood the board with whenever you play in Missoula

Those were SWX announcers, not the Eastern announcers. Keenan was late on that hit towards the end of the game, but he wasn’t *that* late. What other late hits were there? For Pete’s sake, we got called for a late hit on the Qb when he was running the ball.
