Sometime those " pups" can be gems. Sounds kike you're still pretty good. Weber will run. it'll be up to your defensive line and backerts wether Weber is able to run. But then Higgins may come out throwing? Shoud be a good game. Hows the Bobcat Big Sky TV prodiuction?

Max media has been doing our TV this year in HD, they do a very professional job, Byerly the play by play guy is good and the color guy is a former Bobcat but shows due respect to all team, not homer stuff like you get from that other team to the west. Also their camermen are pretty good, not too many missed plays ect...

at any rate they are light years ahead of either Altitude or KPAX.

If higgins comes out throwing I will be worried, if you come out running smash mouth I feel that we can take the day.

This game is just absolutely gonna be a war. Thank goodness we have a bye week following going into Cat/Griz. Our D-line has to come to this game ready for punishment. I think we may be able to contain your run, but as other Bobcats have posted, I am a little scared if Higgins gets time and the Wildcats take to the air. I still think this is gonna be a barn-burner!

Old Skool,

I am 100% sure that the Wildcats are going to run the ball until someone in the conference proves that they can stop it. I look to see the same attack as last week, but maybe Higgins gets 5-10 more passes through the air, due to the Bobcats suspect Pass D. When the Wildcats force you to put 7-8 in the box like they have the past couple games, it doesn't bode well to have single coverage on two of the fastest receivers in the Big Sky.
Aloha from Hawaii Wild Cat fans :D I hope bigskychamps07 is right and you do try and run the ball instead of taking advantage of the 10+ yard cushion that our pass defense has been willing to give opposing teams right off the bat. Should be a hell of a game! Good luck and may the best team win, Go Bobcat's!

Greetings, I really believe we have the most underrated rushing attack in the Big Sky. Higgins will step in when needed to pick up those large chunks of yards in which you speak, but mark my words, Weber will try to establish the run on their first series, and in the last 2 games they've more than succeeded.

Yeah, I agree. When Weber should come out passing we will come out trying to run the ball. Just like we have done all season.

I think that if you look at all the stats Weber and MSU are virtually the same team. Although I like your running game a lot better (ours has disappeared recently) and you do a much better job with red zone and 3rd down defense which we struggle with badly this year.

Also with one our young pups at DE being suspended for a half that will put a lot pressure on our defense.

I think that MSU will have its chances to win the game but WSU will pull it out.

Coach Mac loves the local boys from Hawaii and they are doing a great job for Weber State. This week's game is going to be a big one for us, and maybe after the win, the boys can have some victory poke, or even some squid luau with a side order opihi.....keep the ake at home but send the laulaus, poi, beef stew, pipikaula, pig, lomi lomi and no forget the haupia.......auryte...Hiki No !!

I think Hawaiian is looking for #98 on the Bobcats to celebrate that victory :D

Does anyone know if we can stream the game through MaxMedia? If you do that would be great and we can post a link. I went to ABCMontana and couldn't find a way to stream live TV. This is for those of us who won't be fortunate enough to be their.

lol, Aloha Wildcat 100 and Ho'omaika'i 'ana on your victory over the Grizz. Sounds like the boys should skip the game and get the Pa'ina started! bust out the kava and turn this into a Lu'au, Ai some of dat ono kaukau you have listed! My son has his Kamaka so maybe a few of Da local boyz from Weber can join up with him and Mele, oli Ho`olaule`a, Cheehooo! I really hope this is a competitive and injury free game for both our squads so we can get into the play offs at full strenght. Aloha Pomaika`i

On other boards, CS for one, they're not giving Weber much of a chance against MSU. Thats fine, nobody gave Weber much of a chance against Montana either.

Anybody who watched Weber's win over the Griz and knows the history of close games with the Bobcats knows that Weber has a very good shot at winning on Saturday.

A few important stats in your favor is your 3rd down and red zone defense is a lot better than MSU's. While Weber seems to be peaking right now, MSU hasn't played a decent game since their win over EWU and has developed a case of the fumbles. Combine that with the fact that we are beat up on the defensive line and offensive line and there is no reason why Weber shouldn't win the game on Saturday.

Either way, it's going to be a GREAT GAME... and the winner should be in the driver's seat for the Big Sky....hope for a good game with no injuries from either side. GO CATS

Hey all you cat fans. I've made it back to the board. I couldn't stay away especially after watching our cats smash on the GAYzzlies. This game should be a barn burner. I really like the way that Higgins has managed the game the past few weeks. I think it really shows his maturity and true team first mentality with the way he's been calling plays. They usually give him a huddle call and then the option to audible at his discretion. It's great to see a quarterback who has the chance to break individual records put his team first and do what he needs to do to win the game. It seemed like at the first of the season he was resorting back to his old ways of trying to force things and do a lot of it himself. But I love the way that he's playing now. Either way with the way he's been managing the game bodes well in our favor. The guy has just simply been taking what the defense has been giving him. Big ups to our O-Line too. It's impressive to have 3 freshman manning the center right guard and right tackle spots and just simply doing work. Those guys our beasts. And I love the way that JC and Caleb have been playing on the left side. Our patchwork O-Line is really been the secret to our success the last few weeks. Ever since they tweaked the starting line-up with the O-Llamas they've been beastly. Love the way that the offense is clicking right now.

It seems like we always give Montana State a good game when we play up there. In years past it's always been a good game. 2 years ago we were able to fight off the weather and put the hurt on the Bobcats. The tipped pass to Etuati for one of the first scores in the first half is what really jump started our team and we never looked back.

Montana State is always sound on both sides of the ball. It seems like their strength this year is passing the ball which scares me, especially with our pass defense. But they're obviously a legit contender and it should be a great game to watch. I hope that both teams can bring their A game. Good luck to the Bobcats

Like everyone else I'm worried about the defense. It just seems like all around they haven't been playing that great. They did do a great job last week of creating turnovers and opportunities for the Offense and if they can bend but no break and create some turnovers they'll have done their job. Our pass defense is super suspect and I just hope that we can control the clock on O and keep their quarterback and playmakers off the field. To me it just looks like the defensive gameplan week in and week out is subpar at best. For some reason, whether it be a bad scheme all together or players unable to do their assignments within the scheme, we just seem to go back to our base defense. I hope that the coaches and players on defense are able to pull it together and play within a good solid defensive gameplane.

But it all comes down to how Higgins manages the game. If he keeps doing what he's been doing these past couple of weeks then I see us coming out on top. If he's able to manage the game and take what the defense gives us, whether it be running or passing, we'll come out on top.

Let's hope that our boys can keep the tradition that's been started rolling and get a piece of that big sky trophy and get back to the playoffs. Hopefully they can up the ante and do things yet to be done. Let's do work Wildcats. Gotta Love some Weber State Football!!!!

three missed first half scoring opportunities. Thats why Weber lost. In all reality...Weber should have had at least 13 points in the first half. but no...can't throw the ball anymore. Great game plan!!

I think both teams missed a lot of opportunities in the first half. MSU treated that football like a greased pig in the red zone.

Hard fought game. Have a lot of talent on both your offensive and defensive lines that may end up being the best on both sides of the ball next year.

Well it was a hard fought game till the last 2 minutes. If Booker hadnt have fumbled, Weber might be riding the bus home with smiles, but thats not the case, I went bowhunting today but was able to catch the last 8 minutes of the game. Apparently the MSU defense was top notch and deserve major kudos, Its too bad Higgins got hurt, and that Weber's playoff hopes are lost, but things are not all bad, we have a young team and have alot to look forward to next season. Lets go get the Jacks of NAU, and ensure a winning season.

By the Way good luck MSU vs the Griz.
