Wow, I missed it, Comsuck couldn't be bothered to broadcast local teams so I went to the bar but it worked out well I couldn't jinx them!

Well done! :thumb:

NMSU has a storied BB tradition so that is a legit, D1 win and all those naysayers that said UNC should join the RMAC need to have the onions to come on here, or at least the tribune website and eat their crow....

Although I've been calling for that for a couple years now and I've had ZERO, yes ZERO takers.

It feels almost surreal that little UNC, that played the likes of Western State when I went there, could beat such a major school. This is the kind of win that makes the move to D-I so awesome!

I would also like to hear from those douchebags who always say the move to D-I was a complete mistake and we'll never be able to compete because we don't have the resources.

I was there in the early 90's and we were not a good D-II team. We would get beat consistently by NCC teams (Mankato State, Nebraska-Omaha, Augustana College). I would never have dreamed that we would be playing the likes of Colorado State, NMSU, Oklahoma and Illinois, let alone beating some of them on TV that I could watch in Maryland.

We have a legitimate shot at making the NCAA tournament! How freaking cool is that?

Solid and much needed win. I was worried after watching the Montana game on how the guys would come out and play. Devon again proved he can hang with the best.

I was curious about the NMSU reaction, these guys are clueless.

If you want to see an arrogant fan base at work check out this little gem. What a classy group.

And this has the NMSU logo all over, you'd think they'd want to protect their brand a little more than this.

What can you say about Northern Coloradoother than nobody in college basketball reallycares about them or the Big Sky Conference? Nowonder Trei Steward transferred here when he gotthe chance. Their coach looks like Lurch from theMunsters! Welcome to the Pan Am, Lurch! Thanksto ESPN for giving us the most uninteresting, bor-ing opponent in the history of Bracket Buster!

Devon Beitzel-In an attempt to be a badass, got a tattoo of a dragon onhis arm. I don’t think we even have to say it, but we will: FAIL. He probablywon’t mind if you call him dragon boy either.

I just had to go to read that PanAmmunition thing. That was so ridiculous , you had to laugh. Too bad they don't run an article after the games. I think we earned a ton of respect the other night from their team, coaches, announcers and anbody that watched the game !!! Go Bears

I also had to go read that panammunition thing--ridiculous. I can't say how glad I am that our team shoved that thing down their throats! I also went and read their forums to see what they were saying. It's hilarious, this was basically the most humiliating loss they've ever had and many of them are calling for their coach's head. It's very similar to what all the other fans say from colleges we have beaten in the past who gave us no chance. It reminds me of the CSU fans calling for their coaches head in '09 after we beat them saying that a loss to UNC is automatic failure and a coach deserves to be fired for such humiliation--now CSU is ranked something like 39th in the latest RPI with that same coach.

Nice lead for the Bears. I am off to bed so when I wake up I hope there are no surprises.
