@ MSU Game Day Thread

After a conspicuous start, I'd say holding this team to 10 pts in the first half is pretty friggin great by the d!

14 points isn’t a huge lead, but I like the way the game is trending. The D played much better in the second half. If they come out and force a 3 and out to start the half I think we’re sitting pretty good.

I was impressed with the play of the defense after the first 2-3 MSU drives. They got a lot more aggressive and it showed.

I’ve also been VERY impressed with Tamarick Pierce so far this season. Every time the guy’s touched the ball he does something great. That is a pretty good situation to be in with your #3 running back.

Getting a couple of early stop would be huge for the confidence of the D. I also think we can run the ball effectively on these guys and started to get a little frustrated when it looked like we were going to abandon the run. Keep hitting them with the 1-2-3-4 punch.

I’m never confident with only a 2 TD lead with our defense but I will give them some credit. They made some plays when it mattered. Hopefully we keep moving the ball and the D gets some stop aling the way. Turnover would be great.

I like what I saw.

Keep running the ball and hit them over the top from time to time.

Can’t believe anyone would argue that wasn’t targeting.

Yeah, lots of drops...but how about that catch by Limu-Jones. Bummer on the holding on that TD but at least we burned some time and came away with three points.
