Just spent most of the work day browsing the templates over at Sports Cover World and came up with this:

First attempt.

I know i messed up quite a bit.

And It's damn hard to find some hi res photos of Eagle players. (especially current).

Would love to find a high res of Harry Leons from 1997. I'm still in contact with him and would love to send a cover....as we would battle out on Bill Walsh's football game on the genesis in good ole Dressler.
 
That is a solid first attempt.

I've found a ton of different hi-res pictures for this past season on various sites.
 
Shoot.... I had no luck using google ( used terms "taiwan jones eastern" and "eastern Washington university")


Can you let me know what sites you found some high quality images?
I won't mind taking another shot at this again.

I can name numerous personnel for the XBOX: Chris Powers, Brandon Kaufman, Greg Herd, Matt & Zach Johnson, Renard Williams,Bo Levi Mitchell, Nick Edwards, etc. It is very hard picking one individual. I am sure if we should go through the Roster, we will see where we have forgotten some great Athletes. Good luck. Vic

I'm doing Jones. Gonna continue with keeping a graduated (or leaving for pros) players on the front. Numerous options for the in game screenshots though.

Reference the East/West All Star Game at the INFERNO July 1st, 2011.Accordiing the the HerraldNet, the players will be selected in mid March. This is hoping to see some of our Recruits in that game. I remembered seeing Evan Cook, and two other Athletes play @ one of the Valley Schools couple of years ago. Evan Cook was injured last year, will be ready for this season. :thumb: Vic
 
I'm going to start working on the 2012 version today since I have a little free time. Also, since there's not really any point in starting a new thread I'm going to edit the title of this one.
 
Here's my 2012 version. Decided to go with a departing player, and who better than our very own Buchanan Award winner? Not sure about the logo on the left.....tried to sort of center it the middle, but it didn't work, so this is what I got. Would have liked to use the picture they used for the fathead poster, but couldn't find it on the web... :thumbdown:

Looking good EWU Ranger. Cant believe its already that time of the year... Cant wait to start on mine!

What if you took the player in black and moved hom to the lower left, so he's partially covered by the white banner (also adjusting transparency to help the player show some). That should open up some space for the logo. I think you did a pretty sweet job on the logo so it would be cool to show it off.

Someone on here a while back found some green turf pics and made wicked cool looking designs out of by turning it black, red, and white. How did you do that? I have some ideas for a cover utilizing that technique.
 
Hmmm, so I attempted what you suggested, but just couldn't get it to work with that layer mask. What about an inferno theme?

That was SE174 that did the turf design. He told me how he did it, but I can't remember now exactly.......and I agree that was pretty sweet.
