NCAA EWU Game Boxes - Post yours here

Hmmm, so I attempted what you suggested, but just couldn't get it to work with that layer mask. What about an inferno theme?

Actually a mix of both might look sweet. I wonder how your layer mask was set up. I have a template that might have the right layer setup to let you do that. Here's a quick example:

Would love to find a high res of Harry Leons from 1997. I'm still in contact with him and would love to send a cover....as we would battle out on Bill Walsh's football game on the genesis in good ole Dressler.

I just stumbled upon this pic and remembered this post for whatever reason.

So here's my attempt at this year's version. The game just came out last Tuesday...probably pick it up today when out and about... Again I'm not the best photoshopper....also...I always have a hard time finding an image I like...so I'm not 100% happy with this...might try to tweak it later.

I chose Greg Herd...why? he had some big catches in the playoffs....and he went to the same HS as I did...

so here's the box art:

And here's the link to download the full size version:

Enjoy. and i might try a "retro" Harry Leons cover.... thanks for that find by the way.

edit: added color overlay to splash and confetti

I think I used the same template on one of mine. Did you know that you can change the color of the background glitter and whatnot? I think by using an overlay on that layer.

I wanna know where they got that picture......cause I sure as hell haven't been able to find anything that decent. Also interested to know what settings they used on PS. That is a damn good cover.

They must have found a slightly larger version and blew it up really well. As for settings, looks like mostly shadows/highlights/curves, and overlay/softlight tweaks.
