No surprise Best has no pull in the coaching marketplace. Was also not surprised to learn that players aren't feeling involved. Been bleeding athlete's and coaches since he took over. I'd call the schedule manageable this season which likely translates into Best keeping his job despite a myriad of shortcomings. Fudge.

I don’t care who’s coaching as long as we’re winning.

Brutal schedules are part of the equation in the results we’ve seen the past two seasons and my guess is even the best coaches would struggle stringing together winning seasons with those types of schedules.

2024 is far and away the best schedule we’ve seen in many moons at EWU, but if Best can’t go at least 7-4 or 8-3 with it he’s in deep doodoo.
