New HC

In my opinion, this is a very good hire by your AD. Jeff is a quality coach and a very quality guy. He will do good things at UNC.
 
It's not fair to say we don't care..... He's a great choice, but there's a dark cloud over the program and until that's resolved it's difficult to get excited.

Linder is going to have a tough couple of years, but I'm confident he'll be ok after he's able to recruit his own players. I think at Boise State they recruited Australia really hard and built up a strong pipeline.
 
I think UNC will be very happy with Coach Linder as your new BB coach. He is an intense young man who has been here at Boise State as Coach Rice's Associate Head Coach since Coach Rice was hired. He ran the offense while he was here and you just have to look at Boise State's records to see how successful his offensive scheme worked. On top of his offense he also is a great recruiter and is coming home to his home State. Best of Luck to Jeff on his new adventure at Northern Colorado.
 
Welcome to UNC Coach Linder! I watched the press conference and like what I saw. Im excited for the season, lots of questions but Im looking forward to seeing what kind of man he is and what kind of program he runs. Go Bears!
 
I love this hire. I've been reading numerous articles, and no one has a bad word to say about him. Two things stand out for me:

1. Tenacious Worker -- everyone raves about his work ethic, offensive knowledge and recruiting ability. I'm excited to see him in action.

2. In-state guy -- He already knows so many basketball people in the state. His connections should help a lot.

Considering the whip the NCAA is about to crack on our program, this was a home run hire.
