I've seen them but I don't have a picture. They are flat black like the pictures we've seen posted earlier in this thread but they don't have the white, glossy eagle logo. Its an all red logo and it looks very sweet! :thumb:

Sounds good on the logo front, but did they also fix the facemask so it's more red and not pink?

Is this an every game helmet or will we still have the red helmets? While I like the black, I still really love the red metallic helmets with the black and white logos.

I would like to see the black helmets with the red jerseys and black pants. That'd be a cool look IMO. All-black everything might be a bit OTT.

No, the regular helmets will be worn most of the time still. The plan i've heard is to break out the black helmets for the Montana game in which we will weat all black. (helmets, jersey, pants).

Matte black helmets with a darker red matte decal. They're sort of like the new colors you see in automotives these days (esp. Lamborghini, who has always led with the chin on the "matte colors.")

The decal will need to be slightly blurred to indicate our speed, just as with the Lambo

Can't quite get the pic to work properly, but this looks much better than the early mock up. Looks like Auggie and the equipment staff took our expert advice and kept the facemask black.

I'm really curious to see how we address the logo. I'm hoping for an all-white Eagle, but the red isn't too bad. Also, the black Eagle that I think it was Ranger photoshopped looked pretty sick too. Excited to see the home jerseys too. Can't wait for us to take care of Weber and come home for a beautiful afternoon in a packed Roos Field opener!

The matte black with black facemask is DEFINITELY the way to go. I'd be fine with either red or white eagle, as long as it's also matte and all one color.
