New OC for 2022

Less than a month until spring ball starts, cant wait to see what this new OC can do and i'm also excited to see who ends up on the schedule for game 1.
On a side note, if i read anything else on this fanboard about how Jay Hill has hit his ceiling or whatever then someone is gonna get pimp slapped because they are crying like a little beotch.

Sarcastic humor or what? Who on this fanboard is saying that? You seem to be making something of nothing...like "why all the gloom & doom" as you asked before?

Coach Hill is really liked here, he showed that he's willing to "go out of the box a bit" on a hopefully great hire of a young successful Ohio guy as OC. Most posters here feel Hill isn't hitting any ceiling yet at Weber State & will likely be eventually moving on to bigger climbs. :coffee:

Mental seems like a really good catch. I'm excited to see his stewardship over the offense this Spring and get a feel for what we will see this Fall. Mental definitely has some pieces to work with. I feel we are an Olinemen, QB and receiver away from being really really good. There is a lot of raw talent with our OL. It just needs to continue developing. This Spring season is huge for the line. Keep the guys healthy, give some of our younger dudes some reps and see what happens. I really wish the NCAA would allow football teams to schedule a couple of games every spring. I don't want to go through a full-ish season like last year, but a game or two. Helps break up the monotony and gives the guys somebody else to hit. For instance bring in Ft. Lewis or another DII and play an FCS opponent. Better than practicing for a month just to hit your buddy again.

As for the QB and receiver. We have the guys, they just need to be used according to their strengths. Every spot should be open. Nobody should be a starter just because they were in the past.
