• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Okay, heres a wild idea. If Sonny were to retire, how about giving one of his assistants a chance to run the UNC program? Most of em are local guys, and theres been continuity on that staff, so they are known throughout Northern Colorado. What do yall think?

It can only happen if Downing does the honorable thing and resigns because he won't be let go with another year on his contract.

Even then, who in their right mind would come here to coach?

Yes, I'm negative but it's true.

I have said it before and I will say it again: Jay needs to go before we hire a new coach. UNC athletics has a bad rap under him, and it may limit those who even apply, let alone get hired.

There are lots of good canidates out there, good local guys who can build a program, I also think we should look at hiring a DII/Non-Scholarship HC with a solid record (again, Jay would never do it).

I could probably do the X's and O's better than the current staff. I would surely make sure the ball is thrown past the sticks on 3rd down.
