North Dakota Game

Hey all. My family and I will be making the trek down to Greeley next weekend to see the game. Just wondering if I'll be able to get tickets easily enough the day of the game, or should I get them in advance. Also anything in, around, or on the way to Greeley that a guy should check out while in the area? Thanks.

Are you driving or flying? I think the UNC Campus is really nice, but there is not a whole heck of a lot in Greeley to be honest. Depending on the weather, Denver or Estes Park are both great day trips.

Check out the Greeley Train Museum. People from all over the world come for this secret display. Rocky Mtn National Park. Watch UNC beat NDU !!

We'll be driving. Leaving ND on Thursday with a stop in Rapid City, SD. Looking forward to the journey and the game.

There are things to do in Greeley. No need to spend your money else where. Some nice new places in downtown. Here's a link to their website with restaurants, etc.

Ok, lets get back to football: Its going to be decent weather and The way our Bears are playing and at home, and senior day, I am feeling a great win. Always enjoyed the old rivalries with the Dakotas, and this should be a fun game. GO BEARS !!!!!

Agree, I have a soft spot for all of the old NCC teams except NDSU, I hate them.

Nice win for the Bears. Not a bad season for a program that didn't win a game last season. Lets build on this and win the Big Sky next season.

What a great game to see!! In spite of the lousy refs calls, the defense hung in there. What a great team effort. Very proud of this team , 5 wins is huge !! Way to go Bears !!

Very entertaining game today, although I was obviously disappointed with the result. I'm impressed with the way the Bears finished this season and see no reason to think that they won't be even better next season. I expect the same from North Dakota as well.

2 questions:

1. Is the weather always this nice in November?

2. Does Greeley always smell this bad?

Winning 3 in a row is huge, shows that upward trajectory... the team getting better is a sign of good coaching dare I say.

It was an ugly game but unlike the past we found a way to win the ugly game when before we would always do things like ND did today.

Definity the most optimistic about the future than I've been in many many years! :notworthy:

BinCity: no, but it sure varies. As for the smell, it's what happens with overnight freezing & daytime thawing of cattle pens.

Always nice to beat that hockey school! This should carry nicely into the off-season and we should have a very good recruiting class. Coach Collins is building a nice program at UNC.

Doesn't surprise me that the refs would miss a call like that, they sucked all game.

They've sucked since we joined the Big Sky in 2006. A bad call went our way, oh well, I'm not about to apologize for it, we won the game and that's how it is.
