What is the most horrific showing in all of this is our coaching staff has continuously played the same players. No change up in plays. No pulled players. He deserves to be fired on the spot. Too down. As a matter of fact. Start with Dunn since he has not fired Collins. Then move on down the ladder. This is an embarrassment to the entire program. Not a one of them deserve to keep their jobs.

Leave Collins and the staff in Flagstaff, this is embarrassing. 63-7 through 3 quarters? Like I said before, make me the coach and I could lead our team to a 63-7 loss.

Yeah, I'm on board at this point. There's no excuse for this other than the team and coaches just flat quit. That's the one thing I have zero tolerance for.

I hate to point out that I called this one exactly, no matter what that football genius Bear Fiend has to say or any of the rest of you. As I wrote the other day, we always get blown out after a close loss and NAU has our number... Collins is not a leader and we are no better than we were last year. We have beaten some miserable teams and EWU is overrated in a weak conference... Sad, pathetic, and predictable....

I have been quiet for a few weeks due to it has gotten pretty ugly on this board but I am sick and tired of hearing how we are improving , how things have changed ! Well bullshit ! This program is never going anywhere until we have some major firing happening and it needs to happen NOW ! All of you people that think Collins deserves chance after chance have not been around but a few years. Get a grip ! It's not working it has not worked in 5 years and we are heading into into about 11 to 12 years of the same crap. And I am not a hater ! I need a drink

I really wasn't expecting Collins to turn this ship around, but there was enough in this Bears team to give us a bit of hope. Well, so much for that. The state of this program makes me so damned sad. :(

"My hat's off to NAU, they came out and started with a bang and we had a hard time defending that," head coach Earnest Collins Jr. said. "It's part of the game, it happens. We were on the other side of it when we beat UC Davis and now our guys experienced it. It's all a part of the process of growing into a successful program. It's how the team responds to this loss is what I want to see."

What press conference was this quote from? Is this a quote directly from last week? Or from his entire tenure as head coach? The UC Davis comparison just makes the hair on my neck stand up. All of this only to see PSU come out flat and Collins pulls out the upset. Lord please let there be a fallout during the trip home at some point. I can't take this anymore!

But hey, at least Collins' postgame quotes were as gutless as his team's performance on the field. I've seen a lot of terrible performances from UNC under both Collins and Downing, but I think this one takes the cake as the worst. That's mainly because we saw in the last three games that the issue isn't a talent gap anymore, this team came out, got behind early and just straight up quit. Everyone involved should be ashamed of themselves because that was flat out embarrassing today. As optimistic as I was after the EWU game, I'm equally disgusted after this one.

Does anyone have some choice quotes from his post game conference? I feel like I need to laugh/ be mad at them.

That loss was an absolute embarrassment. Boyer should be told to clean out his desk, but Collins doesn't have he courage to dump him. This offense got behind and could not respond. Knipp was horrible, he never recognized the blitz and couldn't read the defense. This team has relied on it's defense and special teams to score points and that didn't materialize.

Boyer knows too much. Thats probably what scares Collins.

This coach simply refuses to allow a single player excel especially if he is white. Don't believe me? Ask the kids. This is a gd joke.

Our leading passer is white.
Our leading rusher is white.
Our leading receiver is white.
Our leading tackler is white.

Tell me again how the coach doesn't let white players excel.

Ok...you are correct. Our leading receiver is white. Last four games he has had virtually no passes thrown to him while the coach continuously throws to kids who drop the ball over and over again. Yesterday, his first pass came in the third quarter. One might think he was a third string receiver if we all didn't know better. Instead, we threw for a majority of the game to a kid who, to date, has 62 yards. And what do we have to to show for it? Dropped balls. Lost yards. And a lost game. Does that mean he's not a good player? No! He's part of the nation's best special teams return team. But that doesn't equate to a quality receiver. Neither does the other player. Sorry. Don't mean to downplay their great job in other positions but let's call it like it is. We have guys who are great at what they do. Let them excel. But there's not a college on the planet who would let their number one and two recovers sit or play on run plays while special teams players start as receivers while we lose our asses week after week. This coach doesn't want to win. He wants to show players off.
