So after all the hoopla of the Montana win, we have winless Northern Colorado coming in to town. The Bears are without a win, but have played some good teams close (McNeese State, Sacramento State). I would say that, based on our win over Montana and that we are at home (the Timbers being so gracious to let us actually play in our house this weekend), we are going to be favored going in to the game. And, if we do get the win, we are 2-2 in conference play going in to the bye week. How crazy is that after all that this team has gone through in just this season?
I would also venture to say the Montana game was the toughest game we will play this year. I know we play EWU, but we have them at home and we have given the Eagles some tough contests even with bad Vikings teams. Also, to look at it from a different perspective, opposing teams just don't win in Missoula. It is as simple as that. And for us to win there shows we can play with anyone (and beat anyone) in the conference.
